So, Hairspray was the play they chose this year for the theater group. Who are they? The guys at my college of course.
Anyway, I watched the play today. Full theater, that is a new record. I've always liked Edna, and I've always enjoyed the fact that she is played by a man. This time though, it was a little weird because this time the guy is part of my group, so it was weird to see him dressed as a woman.
Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Also, I think I had never really felt any kind of love with Edna and Wilbur in other versions of the play. This time however, it was amazingly easy for those two to get an "Awww" from the public.
I really don't know what to think about it.
I did enjoyed it though...
