If there's something I love, besides the insanity and crack, is the fact that they show things in a much much nicer way.

For example, one of my favorite MA moments, Howard Stark as a loving (Yet irresponsible and disengaged) father.

Because seriously, keeping pictures and trophies of your son in a nuclear bunker is love.

Crazy-old-coot!Howard Stark is one of my favorite parts of MA: Iron Man. He's totally different from the vaguely Lionel Luthor-like utterbastard!Howard of canon, but his interaction with Tony is so awesome that I don't care ("Howard, your incesant nagging has saved us all!").

I thought it was a great take on the character. Especially poor Tony never getting credit from him.

It's what makes everything as great as it is, like: "Ajha! So my father did care about me!" And then he cries rivers...Oh no wait, that was a little before that.

It's so lovely to me. :) Thank you for scanning.

616 should take a leaf from MA. I only know one person who dislikes it (as opposed to the millions currently unhappy in 616)

There's someone who dislikes MA? Now, that's something.

But yes, I think the same thing, it would make everything a little brighter.

*posts with her shocked-and-sad Tony icon from that issue*

I liked MA: Iron Man best of all, since it was more serious than the rest of them but still, well, MA. It had continuity! And the hero crying on-panel over something that wasn't happy or trivial! And lying to SERVAC so it wouldn't feel so hopeless as it died.

...Hey, you know something? Baby Tony totally has Sandman/Osborne hair. This means something.

I think lying to SERVAC is one of the sweetest things ever, something very Tony to do, have compassion for machines :) That's why people thinks he is crazy, but he knows better.
